The assistant appears on your published docs site. It answers questions using your documentation as context and links readers to relevant pages.
Configure the assistant from your site settings in the dashboard.
Enable or disable
Toggle the assistant on or off for your site. When disabled, the chat widget does not appear on your live docs.
Starter questions
Add up to three suggested questions to help readers start a conversation. Good starters match common tasks on your product — for example "How do I get started?" or "What plans are available?".
Deflection to support
If the assistant cannot answer a question, you can show a Contact support option with your support email so users aren't stuck.

Base models are the default on Pro. Business unlocks more capable models for technical or long-form content.
